Mission Statement

"TO PROMOTE HEALTHY AGING THROUGH EDUCATION, PARTICIPATION AND SOCIAL SUPPORT, AND THUS, DIGNITY, INDEPENDENCE AND LONGEVITY OF ITS MEMBERS IN THEIR SENIOR YEARS; AND PROVIDE A FORUM THAT WOULD ENCOURAGE ABLE SENIORS TO HELP FOLLOW SENIORS IN NEED, WITH GOAL TO MINIMIZE THEIR DEPENDENCE ON SOCIETY."

To achieve these goals, we conduct regular monthly talks by qualified speakers on topics pertaining to health, diet, physical fitness, yoga/meditation, finance, and social issues; and arranging group travels.

Membership

 USAP has three categories of membership.

• Annual Membership

  Annual Membership runs on a calendar year. Annual dues are only $30 per person.

• 4-Year Membership

  Any person, contributing $100 per person to USAP shall become a 4 Year Member (Individual) and $200 per couple to USAP shall become a 4 Year Member (Couple)

• Charter Membership

  Charter Members are lifetime members Dues are a one-time donation of $500 per person. Membership dues can be paid online by visiting www.USAofPittsburgh.org. All members are kept informed of USAP activities via e-mails and receive an online quarterly magazine.
